Just purchased an HDM V3 and was attempting to set up the post processer in Vectric. Under Carbide 3D they only list the Nomad and the Shapeoko models. Is there a post processer separate for the HDM? I saw a topic on this from 2023 but could not figure it out.

Just pick Shapeoko. Behind the curtain they are all the same, it makes no difference.

Looks good. The text fields are descriptive only sort of like naming your computer or phone… You can change to whatever you want. In a shop that runs multiple machines they might use names like “Prod No. 3” or “Plastic Protoyping Station” instead of defaults.
I can not think of what if anything the Width and Height affect. I know I have sheets with material size set larger than my machine size without any error popping up.
That is the latest Vectric PP for Carbide Motion. Note there are several threads here about alternate PP’s. One thing lacking in vectric’s is the Tool Name is not added to the Gcode so it isn’t presented on screen for Tool Changes, only the number.
I learned from the good folks on the Vectric forum that the Acceleration values are only used for the machining time estimates under Toolpath Summary. They don’t effect the toolpaths or gcode output.
