What software is available for the Stingray Vinyl Cutter?

I purchased a Stingray Vinyl Cutter.
However, I haven’t found any software that works with it yet.
Can you recommend some free, easy-to-use software?

Also, I have a question for the Carbide 3D team:
Can you add functionality for the Stingray Vinyl Cutter to your Carbde Create (Pro) software? (Are there any plans to do so?)

Thank you.

Carbide Create?

What functionality do you feel needs to be added?

I use CC for the things I do. I add a very short 5° ramp to insure the cuts overlap a bit at start & end and to get the knife oriented at the start of cut.

I miss out on the fancy corners that a drag-knife specific program would insert to rotate the knife around the offset pivot point.

But at the scale I’m usually working I can live with a slightly imperfect corner.

I opened the file you uploaded and my curiosity was answered!
I hadn’t thought you could set the RPM to ‘0’.
Of course, I had the fixed idea that the spindle should rotate.

I realized that all I had to do was draw a line with the offset in mind, mount the blade, set the RPM to ‘0’, and that was it.

The ‘Stingray’ tool isn’t a default, but was created by the operator, right?

Thank you.

I didn’t think it could be used as a Carbide Create.
I’ll give it a try, referring to your know-how.

Thank you very much.

Correct on all counts — I thought all that was made clear in the forum post/announcement video…
