I have a shapeoko 5 pro. Is it recommended to power down everything when I’m done using it for the day, turning off the control module or just use the power pendent?
Power everything off — I’d recommend unplugging as well, or at least switching off a surge protector the unit is plugged into — stepper motors are weird and work their hardest when holding position.

Thank you, I will make sure to unplug it. I was already a little nervous leaving it plugged in and powered on at the control module.
Why turn off the power to the brick?
That leaves the power supply itself on if it’s plugged in, but yes, turning it off as well (so long as one remembers to turn it back on) is a good idea.
