I haven’t updated CM in a while, it wasn’t clear to me from the release notes which is the last that works on older intel based Macs. It’s an old laptop, I haven’t been able to update the OS in quite a while as it’s no longer supported, I think it is running 11. Nevertheless it still works fine and the price is right.
The last build I have on my Intel Mac is 657, but 658 is noted as having had the QT build rolled back to support a “12” version (I haven’t understood Mac OS versioning since they abandoned the “Big Cat” descriptors, and 10.6.8 “Snow Leopard” was the last version I actually liked using).
Mac OS versions I have archived include:

Thank you for the links.
Another option, if you’re inclined, might be to install Linux and use:
For my Macbook Pro (2013 version I think)…which hasn’t been OS updated in a while…I have CM installed on the native MacOS, but here lately I’ve had a Seagate USB drive attached that I’ve installed Linux Kubuntu on and boot the Mac from it…in this Linux Kubuntu OS I have CC (free) and CM up and running so that I can edit CC files as needed AND run CM (from Rob’s flatpak build) within the same OS. I still have the “luxury” of booting the Mac hardware up with MacOS if I have a need for a Mac specific item. The Mac hardware (still rock solid) pairs nicely with the Linux Kubuntu OS. No issues with the flatpak CM running on Kubuntu to date.
