Which protective film?

I have seen other people use a protective film on carves so they can spray the carved area and not get paint on the uncarved areas. Does any one have a recommendation?

Its usually oramask but im sure others wil do.

I use a removable adhesive shelf or drawer liner. I get mine from Menards but I am sure you could find it at any Hardware or department store in the hardware dept.

Menards Link to the liner I use.

I use a plastic putty knife to press it down and ensure no bubbles and has good contact.

You can get Oramask 813 here for much cheaper than Amazon.

I’ve also had very good luck using downcut Vbits made by Cadence Mfg here:

For straight cuts, I use the Amana 46200-K here:

I use this from Lowe’s. Works great.
