Why does CM prompt for speed change on HDM?

The HDM has been out for a while, but Carbide Motion still prompts the operator to change the speed of the spindle. It is just kind of annoying to have to keep hitting the button to confirm. HDM adjusts the speed of the spindle via G code, so no operator intervention is necessary. When is this update coming? Patiently waiting…

What do you have configured in Carbide Motion?

Do you have Spindle Control enabled?

My HDM, nor my SOPro with a spindle do not prompt for speed changes, just tool changes. I did let Carbide Motion know I’m using a spindle (check box in the settings tab).

I have SO3 with Dewalt router. I have BitRunner so I never get speed warnings. I would like to get speed dialog. What settings to get speed warning and BitRunner?

If you disable the BitRunner/Spindle Control option it will still work in current versions, but you will get the speed and on/off prompts
