Why you no update stock bottom?

Set stock thickness initially
Create a drawing and toolpath
Set toolpath to use “Stock Bottom”

Update stock thickness

Hmm, toolpaths don’t reference the updated stock thickness. If you check each toolpath and select “Use Stock Bottom” it will now update to the project settings

This seems unintuitive. Stock Bottom should be the same everywhere and automatically update

“Use Stock Bottom” is a convenience to enter the current Stock Thickness.

For a persistent entry of stock thickness use the t variable:

If t is bottom, can you use ttt for top?

This type of information is truly awesome and Thank You!!!
May I suggest that in future versions that there could be a “tool tip” or “?” off to the side that would expose these hidden features?

Put that in as a feature request — we’ll have to see what happens in future versions.

“t” is not “bottom”, it’s “Thickness”. You don’t need ttt for “top” since 0.000 is “top”

If you’re cutting through the material, whether using top or bottom of stock, and you plan to change the thickness for each workpiece, use something like t+0.010 for max depth.

Thanks @WillAdams How do I put in a feature request?

I have 1/4 deep groove in my new spoil board because of this. I made the assumption that saving a new tool path would update the code to reflect the thickness change. Good thing I have another spoil board on top of the hybrid table. I’m past the “mistakes are on us” time period.
