Wiring Step Help

Hello, I have reached this step in setting up my Shapeoko: https://docs.carbide3d.com/assembly/shapeoko/xxl/step-6-wiring/ and I am having some issues.

When installing the X-Axis Drag Chain Bracket I do not have 2 standoffs preinstalled and am not sure if I should use one of the ones in the packaging to make it 2 or if I need that for something else. I attached what it currently looks like.

Davit,

Did you get any forther on this?

It might sound like you are missing some standoffs

  • 4 should be used around the Z pulley to hold the Z limit switch. (2 of these were pre assembled on my machine.)
  • 2 should be used for the X limit switch mounted on the Z carriage.
  • 2 should be used for the Y limit switch mounted on the right Y carriage.

How many do you have in total?

Edit: I can’t recall if they are all the same length and all threaded, I’m currently locked in an apartment in China due to the ongoing virus, and therefore not near my machine​:cn::mask:
