Curious if we’re going to see the 5P evolve or if this is it?
Love the machine and definitely not complaining. I’ve just hit the point where I’m ready to upgrade my spindle and controller. Was holding out, hoping we’d get some announcements regarding upgrades or addons this past holiday season.

We want this to be the flagship Shapeoko for a long time, so it has to be the best machine possible.
The big announcement a lot of folks are waiting for is the 80mm mount/spindle.
That said, there are “Auxiliary” and “Accessory” connectors which have not yet been used, so presumably there will be at least two more announcements at some point in the future.
I can’t wait for the 80mm spindle and whatever they have in store. This should be a great set up for awhile. The only thing I see myself needing might be another one if things get busy enough.
