Wood deburring tool suggestions

I have been cutting deep grooves in Pine. I know that pine does not finish well.
I was wondering what everyone uses to clean/sand deeper grooves ( 1 1/2) deep.

I was thinking some rotary device, but a few words from the community would help.

My current project is kind a 3.5 in square “pole” with my last name on 4 sides.
This is after 2 sides rough cut. I left 0.020 for a 1/2 and 1/4 ball end mill.

I use flap wheels. Just google flap wheel. BTW…that’s a cool project.

If you search Amazon for “drill sanding attachments”, there are a number of small sanding attachments that I have used over the years. They work well, but like everything, hard places always take time and are a challenge.

I use a toothbrush. Manual not electric

Now there’s a premade Amazon cart !
Thanks!

What a cool idea @jtclose. I wish I would have thought of that when I replaced my mailbox post earlier this year.

Thanks ! I was thinking for a totem pole, but I got lazy and used my last name.
I like it, except I just had a work holding issue and sent the piece across the table.

I will retry with a different approach.

I did learn that a 1/2 2 flute ball end mill is almost too much for the wood, it sounds like it wants to break. I remade finish path to be the 202 1/4 ball end mill. Worked great until the part came loose.

I will also increase the center square from 1" to 1.5 inch. No need for the extra cutting and it’s a bit fragile.
