Well, you could read up on the life of Benjamin Banneker — I still recall his biography in which it was noted he made a wooden clock, by hand, which kept accurate time.
The Clayton Boyer files used to come through support pretty regularly, but since then Carbide Create’s DXF import has been fixed to allow the files to import as expected.
The Shapeoko wiki had some resources/links for “Clocks/Gears”:
as well as a pair of specific links:

from:
but the “Clockit” program created by the guy who does:
is off-line — not sure if it got folded into the main program or what.
@WillAdams - Wow
It doesn’t surprise me that you provided a laundry list of resourses.
As always, Thank you !
I’ve made a few of B Law’s clocks, pretty interesting to do. Several others on the forum have as well. Well worth the price of sdmission
They do look great. Good to hear from someone else that has experience with them,
Thanks !
Brian Law’s Clocks are fun to make. I’ve made one and have plans for two others saved.
If you have questions about the plans, I’ve found he is very quick to respond. The hard parts like bearings and shafts have been, in the past, easily sourced on that jungle website.
It’s a great challenge to undertake and very rewarding.
Luckily I have buddies with machine shops, so any metal fabrication I can offload.
I started looking at the geometries and mechanics.
It seems the Escapement/Crutch/Pendulum are the keys to a successful project.
