WTF Carbide motion?!?!?!

I just had this happen with my SO3 and the Z axis. After doing a boring operation into hardwood, the rest of the z axis cuts were off. I finally figured out that my Z axis belt was too loose and the tensioning screw had fallen out. I reset it and it has been working well since. (I also tightened up all of the rest of the belts, just in case).

Ok, so I went through and did the belts first and gave her a run (self imposed deadline) and it ran much more smoothly. I can say I was successful in repetition. I take it back Carbide Motion, operator error appears to be the culprit. I can’t thank all of you enough for your insight. I now know I need to go back through the machine and triple check everything.
