Our x axis is shuttering and getting stuck in the middle area. We dont notice any damage or anything to any parts. We oiled the rails too, to see if this would help? Any suggestions on what we should do? Thanks!
carefully check the connections to the stepper motors.

As @cheu said, check your connections. I placed zip ties on mine, they seem to vibrate apart.
When you check make sure the pins and sockets are pushed all the way in. Also, check for any arcing that might have occurred from loose connections.
