I’m trying to assemble my Shapeoko 5 Pro and am running into a problem which is leaving me feeling stupid.
This is the coupling on the end of the motor:
This is the coupling on the end of the X axis leadscrew:
There’s a geometry there I’m just not seeing and hence I am having problems mounting the motor. Please feel free to tell me I’m not seeing something obvious…
There are two different couplers in circulation between HDM and Shapeoko 5. One of these might have gotten mixed up on the shop floor. Please shoot an email to support and they’ll get you up and running.
Definitely not the same coupler that is on my 5 Pro. Support will get it squared away.
