X/Y camera on SO4

Hey everybody,

i was thinking about adding a USB camera to my SO4 XL for X and Y zeroing. The first design for the camera bracket is done (65mm spindle mount on a Z-Plus).

The camera I selected is available on Amazon and can also be used to “monitor” the cutting process.

Now i am thinking about the controller software to use - i guess the best approach would be CNCjs. Any recommendations or ideas on it from the community? Perhaps somebody already realized a project like this and has a working solution…

Any g-code sender should do, as long as it can send a G-code one-liner, to move the gantry by a known XY offset after visually aligning to the center
I did use CNCjs for this laser pointer zeroing
