Sharing machine- off like 1/4” front right and back left when carriage is placed in front and back.
Initial homing- machines powered, all 3 limit switches validated to open/close. Initial homing, Z axis intermittently moves correctly about 1/3 of my attempts to troubleshoot homing sequence/errors. Sometimes it doesn’t move at all. X axis moves 12 inches LEFT, not right and triggers an error code (assuming because it’s not found a limit switch), which stops the homing sequence.
I’ve read and watched about everything under the sun for fixes, exchanged numerous emails with carbide 3D and am still not making progress to getting up and running.
Going on day 3…If the wife sees no action, we both might be plotting 6 feet under!
Oh and I live in Washington state, if anyone is local and would like to pair up!
Since accomplishing the function test, it appears the X and Z wires were mismarked. Long story short I did the function check and noticed the mismatch, no wire mismatches, just plug.
It appears I am functional now!!! Now to tackle the squaring of the machine.
