Just wanted to share my iteration of a work bench. It was originally an open design. Super simple made out of mostly 1” square tubing and a couple of melamine boards.
This was the only pic I could locate, but you get the idea. Then all the bits, tools, attachments, etc started to pile up on me so I wanted drawers.
Then I added a spindle so I needed a vfd and a place to mount it. So I came up with this.
I set up the emergency stop button to cut power to the carbide motion control board as well as send a stop signal to the vfd. I can’t remember which setting it was but if you go into the vfd programming menu you can make changes and I set one of the inputs as a stop.
This is where I set my laptop.
