FWIW, I checked with the maker, Vista Metals and found a distributor 20 minutes from me in Ca. Got a quote for a 1/2x32x20 chunk…$331. Midwest is $105+$27 shipping.

I was thinking about standoffs but I wasn’t sure I would need them or if it would cause detrimental issues that I don’t know about.
