Y-Axis Does not move far enough to center over BitSetter

I have noticed that my router does not move far enough in the Y-Axis to allow my bits to hit the center of the BitSetter button. It only moves far enough allowing me to only catch the end of the round button. This is starting to be concerning when running 1/16" bit or V-Bits.

How can I get my Pro XXL to move more so that my bits hit more to the center of the BitSetter button?

I have tried to used the Y button to move it further, but there seems to be no more movement possible.

Usually this is caused by the Y-axis belts (and by extension the X-axis) not being sufficiently taut.

See:

if that’s not the case, you can slightly increase the Y-axis Travel Dimension as necessary.

Bels are good. But how do I adjust the Y-Travel dimension?

Which version of Carbide Motion are you using?

Build 566, Built on 2022-07-08

This is listed in the “About Carbide Create”.

You can edit the Travel Dimension in the Settings pane.

Thank you this helped. I had to increase the travel by 5 mm. Now the bit is much more centered over the BitSetter.
