Y Home always on in software

Fired up the machine this morning to spend some time with my dad and it failed to initialize. The HM001 and HM008 errors keep popping up. While troubleshooting I noticed that “Y Home” is always lit in the debug menu. I reset the machine and started setting it up from scratch but again, during setup, the Y Home is triggered.

The physical Y Home however works. It lights up red when I move metal close to it and turns off when I move metal away from it. All other switches react to metal as well.

Anyone have any ideas, will create a support ticket as well? I have been using the machine for a while now without issues.

Another similar post suggested they waited 30 minutes and the issue cleared itself. Well that worked for me as well. I still put a ticket in as I don’t want to deal with these interruptions.
