if I want to replace bottom v wheels on Y1 and Y2, do I have to take the carriages off to do so?
I assume this is an SO3 or SO4. No you just take the bolt out and remove the eccentric and v-wheel. When replacing put your bolt in and add the eccentric with the v-wheel on it. You might have to put the eccentric and v-wheel in place and add the bolt. Tighten the bolt until barely snug. Hold the Allen wrench on the bolt and use a wrench to adjust the eccentric until the v-wheel is snug. Do not over tighten. Hold the wrench in place and tighten the bolt fully. If you dont hold the eccentric with the wrench the eccentric will move due to torque of tightening the Allen bolt.
Thanks. I “assumed” I could do it without taking anything apart similar to how I did my Z Plus but doing it this way now has my Z Plus no longer square or 90 I sent the picture yesterday but didn’t get much other than tighten up the centric nuts which did nothing to help
