Z axis ball screw noise

My SP5 will start making noises. The source is the pocket where the Z axis ball screw sits in the X transom. The noise is a lower frequency rubbing sound.

I put some oil on the lower end of the ball screw and the noise goes away.
Simple enough.

There seems to be burnt wood dust on the shelf of the X transom.
Any way to clean that pocket out that the Z axis ball screw fits into ?

Not really stuck, I just have had to put oil in that location.
I was looking for a way to clean the seat out.

I will send support a picture. Thanks.

As per usual the Support folks ( Brandon Lee ) where right on the issue.

In short the Z motor coupling showed a gap, which made for no gap at the bottom plate.
The culprit was the top nut of the ball screw was loose.

The bottom plate showed a little anodizing wear, no grooves.

Thanks to the Support team !
