Z limit registering as X, as well as the X limit

Just assembled my Shopeoko Pro XXL, when through the initializing process and the z carriage rose to the top, hit the limit, and didn’t stop. I rechecked the wiring, resent all data and lowered the spindle to attempt again - same issue. When I looked at the controller board to make sure all my limits were registering correctly I saw that the X and Y limit lit up appropriately but when I tried the z limit it reflected the the x limit was tripping. Again i verified everything was secured and inserted correctly but no idea why both the z limit and x limit was register as the x limit.

Strange indeed, does it also happen if you unplug the X and Y limit switch connectors at the controller side and only leave the Z limit switch plugged in ?
Anyway you should contact support@carbide3d.com about this, if you haven’t already.

Sure does, just checked to verify. I shot an email as well so hopefully we’ll be good

ok, my hunch is that there is a miswiring in the Z limit switch cable.
Can you take a picture of the wire arrangement on that specific connector ?
In fact the three limit switch connectors at the controller side carry all signals (X/Y/Z limit switch, feedhold, probe) and it’s only the location of the wires inside the connector housing that makes them trigger specifically X, or Y, or Z

EDIT: to be more specific, your Z limit switch connector should have the bottom wire placed in the hole that reads “Z” on the PCB silkscreen

Yes, looks like you have one miswired connector (the Z connector is wired exactly like the X connector, it shouldn’t). Support will take care of that.
What does the label on the cabler read ?

The cable reads Z limit and on the underside SPCE38-48
