Here is my first attempt on some planetary gears. I just used project board for a test and it works perfect! All the gears mesh up great. I attached is the CC file for anyone else to use. If you use it please post your results!

Tried to cut the gears, did you do inside or outside cuts on the gears? I got a bigger gap than you between the gears.
Its been a year since i posted this, so if i remember correctly i did an outside cut. make sure that when you are set the cut that its cutting the outside of the gear and not the inside. hope this helps!
