3D library parts of svg won't cut

I imported the USMC anchor and globe svg but the eagle and globe don’t show up as being cut on computer model. Any suggestions?

Those are unjoined/unclosed/open geometry. It would be necessary to edit them so as to create closed shapes in order to use them for making 3D elements.

Please see:

which has some files which have closed geometry.

Thanks for the rapid response. Unfortunately everything you said way over my head. I’ll try to just buy one online.

I have a post in the gallery about making an EGA and attached is the EGA I used. If you can use great if not find another.

This was an advanced vcarve I used as a test and filled it with epoxy.

Here is the test file used to carve this.
