Air cooled Spindle vs Makita

I have a Shapeoko 3 with z plus
my Makita has been a workhorse and i am happy with it and especially how long it has lasted 3+ Years.
Are there any big advantages to putting in an air cooled spindle?
If there are advantages, what spindles would be highly recommended for the shapeoko3

Ultimately, I did get a Mafell FM 1000 WS:

but not so much for intrinsic considerations as that I was doing a lot of test cuts and some days it felt as if I spent more time wrenching than cutting. It’s still on my SO3 XL, and I use an ER-11 Carbide Compact Router on my Pro which is where I’ve actually been doing work lately.
