Am I missing something or is this just how the software works? When I attempt to align and object say to both the top and right edge of another object it seems that I have to open the align pane, do one operation, close it, then re-open it to do the second. When I click first top and then right without closing and reopening the pane it appears to revert the first alignment when I do the second.
At this time, that is how the Align tool works.
Align for one axis, done, then align for the second.
This was reported a while back (April 2025: DEFECT (815) Alignment to Stock does not work properly)…and I DO wish it got fixed. I say fixed because it worked the other way for all prior versions of the software…and then suddenly changed to the current behavior when changes were made to rendering (I believe).
It is cumbersome to have to go back in multiple times. I’d love for that fix to be made.
