Aluminum part 2

I am guessing this is just much too much text for a business card sized etch.

Before I tell the person who requested this that this is just not a good application, I wanted to reach out to these experts to see if you had any suggestions?

Is re-setting the text in a single-line font a possibility?

Convert to paths and inset as much as the font geometry allows?

Great suggestion. I am not clear on applying geometry- I looked at your previous post but I am not sure what that step is doing. Thanks for the help.

Post your file and we will walk through this with you.

Thanks for your help Will!

Tried it, but I doing something wrong.

Unfortunately, your file seems to use fonts which I do not have:

A further concern is that the fonts which Iā€™m seeing at my end are constructed in such a way as to draw letters in small sections:

Scaling things down and re-centering we arrive at:

which we then convert to curves and union and then inset ā€” hang on, this is going to take a while.

I am not required to use the fonts currently in use. If there is something else that is close.

Geometry is fixed:

then identify the narrowest region which can be inset:

and try insetting by a bit less than that radius:

We export each to a separate file and import them:

arranging on separate layers and hiding as appropriate:

which new previews as:

Attached as a v7 file:
