Hello makers of the universe,

I was wondering around the uniweb to hopefully find a tool database for amana bits from tools today. Unfortunately nowhere to be found other than a csv file for just a handful of router bits. This annoyed me very much. so as you would, you would think where can i get a good tool database, and internet provided me with this. FUSION 360. from there i got a copy of the 132 tools of Amana. I then copied these into a CARBIDE 3D tool database. was a bit of tinkering but got it working. (CSV files don’t like it when you use semicolons, commas and that sort of thing throughout the file). (ERROR 404 so to say) once that figured out, I got it working. And who would i be Not to share this with you folks. But… always a but how in the heck do i attached an CSV file to this topic. it won’t let me…

so again a little bit of brain picking got me to just changing the extension of the file to PDF. So if you want to use it just download it and adjust the extension to CSV

where to place it you say…

C:\Users(your comp name)\AppData\Local\Carbide 3D\Carbide Create\tools

EDIT: rather than changing the file extension, here is the .csv file in a .zip archive which should work as expected.

What a nice idea, thank you! Sadly, the PDF file appears to be corrupt. I get a 29k file and it shows an error when trying to download it to a Mac. Will try later on the Win PC but I use PDF Expert to handle all of my PDF files and that is not usually unable to open any file.

Just hold on guys found a small error in the tools. They all have an 2 degree angle I have corrected this, but did not have time to upload it. Will do so a.s.a.p
