Bit setter with VcarvePro? GRBL

I’ve seen this question here before and I’ve seen answers, my problem is I only have a small brain.
So, I’m running the latest carbide motion (513 I think). I program using VcarvePro and have been for years. I have ordered the bit setter but don’t know how to build the code into my system. I’ve seen people add line code for GRBL but I have NO idea how to do that. Is there anyone here with enough patience to help walk me through this?

Since you will have several different bits in the same file, make sure that your bits have unique identifying numbers. The VCarve uses 1 as the default number and if you do not change that, it will be refused by the VCarve.
