Boolean Option Not Showing

In the reply section like the 7th button in above where you type (should be a box with an arrow coming out), is an upload box. Should be able to navigate to and upload files local to your computer.

What version of Windows are you using?

I get all the Boolean options:

8.1 I also have no option to turn off “Snap to Grid” and it will not save toolpaths

Snap to Grid you should in your main menu.

To save toolpaths, get out of demo mode, or enable the free 1 yr. license:

Hi
I do not understand what you are saying here?
I have just set up my machine a full year after purchasing it. Are you saying we cannot fully use the free version?

Shock Horror NO ANSWER! How Rude!

So to get this straight there is NO useable free Carbon Create anymore, is that correct? I am running the free version not the pro trial.

Gary:

Just a user here. There are free versions of Carbide Create.

I am running version 474 on a Windows 10 machine and downloaded your file and it opened with Boolean operations available and snap to windows as well.

I am using version 474 because I have a 32 bit operating system.

Bill

If you get out of demo mode you will then be in the free mode.

Hi Will
I am in free mode, never downloaded trial version. Maybe it is my windows 8.1

This is a user forum, not a support mechanism… just so you know.

Edit: I think I posted this to the wrong thread, sorry.

I used 2.5 inch Peachtree Woodworking. This hose is very flexible. I am not in an enclosure but you need enough length your z can move to the 4 corners and not strain your z movement.

Hi Gerry
I am quite aware it is a user forum. David and even Will were trying to help. As a new user (I only finished setting my machine up yesterday) I thought I was doing something simple wrong. It turned out that was not the case. Will then sent some arbitrary message about making money from the machine and I should therefore download the pro version. I have actually downloaded the pro trial now but will not extend the free license, I will instead buy Vcarve (Nice Job Will). I have 5 years cnc laser experience so hope I can have valuable input into this community.

Carbide Create runs in 3 different modes:

https://launch.carbide3d.com — creating an account will allow a free trial. “This trial is fully functional … so you can generate G-Code and try a full project.”

http://carbide3d.com/blog/2017/big-carbide-create-update-its-now-free/
That is where I downloaded yesterday, the version that simply did not work and gave me the problems above.

There’s only that one version, and it works for most folks, and runs in the three different modes as noted.

If you’ll let us know the specifics of your computer setup at support@carbide3d.com we’ll do our best to look into it.
