Cannot open Design V7

I just downloaded Carbide Create V7, when I attempt to open it, I get the following error message:

ENTRYPOINT NOT FOUND
The procedure Entry point SetThreadDescription could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\CarbideCreateV7\carbidecreate.exe

I am running on a Windows 8.1 / 8.00 GB / 64 Bit Operating system

I do see the Carbidecreate.exe file there.

Any ideas, suggestions to get this to run??

Windows 8 is no longer supported (Microsoft discontinued support 10 January 2023).

You will need to update to Windows 10 or 11 or a computer running that or a supported Mac OS version.
