Those motor mount wholes are too big for standard motors 16x16 so I need to make them smaller and just don’t know how to approach I have a nomad3 I know how to use fusion 360 and I just can’t figure out a point of reference any advice?
I would suggest scanning if possible, along with a ruler, then drawing the outline:
Then using that to make a fixture to secure the part, then with the part secured you would be able to cut it.

I would try the old school ruler and circle templates to measure the part. Maybe some grid paper.
The design is symmetrical , so you have a centerline to work with.
Take a few measurements, sketch it on paper. Once it settles down, lay it out in your CAD system of choice and harden the geometric relations and dimensions.
If it’s a newer part, the dimensions are probably metric. Designs usually have almost round numbers, so you have get a good guess.
The slots seem to be 45 degrees.
