Hello again everyone. I hope you are all having a better start to the new year than I am. My problem is I was loading a new project. I got to the Background section. I loaded the cat in Project 1: Key Chain. But couldn’t edit it. I tried to delete it and start over. I couldn’t delete or start a new file. When I tried the Background TooI ran into an even bigger problem. When I tried to load the image again I was taken to the File Explorer File. I then called for help. I was told to delete Carbide Create and reload it. I have done this several times. When I get to the Background tool and try to download the image I am continually taken back to the File Explorer file. My question is, is it my computer or something in the software? This was a poor time for this to happen being as how Carbide Support is closed until Jan 5th. I have been locked out of my project since all this began. If any of you have computer knowledge could you please give me some assistance? My Carbide Program is v7.
First, does your computer meet our system requirements:
Windows:
- Windows 10, or 11, 64-Bit (Intel or AMD)
- 8GB RAM
- Screen Display: 1280 x 1024
Mac:
- OS/X 10.14 or higher
- 8GB RAM
- Screen Display: 1280 x 1024
If it doesn’t, update or try a different computer which does meet the system requirements.
Secondly, I would suggest trying the new v8 beta:
Are you getting a bug splat? If so, please send that in.
Yes, my computer meets all Carbide Create requirements. I will delete my current Carbide Create program and load Carbide Create V8 Beta. I’ll let you know if it works. If it doesn’t then I think its probably my computer.
I don’t know what a bug splat is when it come to computers. So I can’t answer that right now.
Please post screen grabs showing what you are seeing at each step.
