Cutting Copper with Pro5

Couldn’t find a solid answer with searching, or my search skills just suck today.

I’m going to engrave some copper (diamond drag) for a anniversary gift for my wife, but I would like to cut it out from the copper sheet as well. Not sure what type of end mill to use for that?

It’s just a 1/16th thick sheet, nothing crazy.

Probably any tool will work — the issue will be adjusting feeds and speeds so that you’re still forming a chip (which will carry away heat) and the specific alloy in question — pure copper is “gummy” and hard to machine and sticks to tooling.

A coated tool should help.
