We’ve been rewriting all of our DXF import code for Carbide Create and wee need some help from an AutoCAD guru.
We need a DXF file (or a couple) that contain the following features:
- Block inserts
- Block inserts with rotation
- Block inserts with rotation and some kind of offset
- A rotated ellipse
As far as we can tell, Autocad is just about the only program that will generate these features and we’re not Autocad people here at Carbide 3D. If you have the means to generate these we could really appreciate the help.
On the positive, we’ve tested the new code with all of the customer files that we can find the new code is looking like a real improvement.
