I’m new at this so i apologize in advance. I have an odd shaped object that i need to repilcate so i can produce usung my CNC. Its very difficult to dimension. How can i take an object and put it into CC? The object is a mount for a deer mount so its not too big. Thanks in advance

Photograph, or scan, or trace and scan the image.
Then import the pixel image onto the background and re-draw:
I’ve searched, honestly, but I still can’t find out if the importing of images is fixed, or I’m just doing it wrong.
Essentially, I drew around a spanner (wrench) with the intention of scanning it, editing the image in Affinity Photo, and then importing it as a background, to draw a vector over it, or as a vector.
Except, it’s either the size of the Eiffel Tower:
