Feature Request - Tangent Lines to Circles/Arcs

I just went through the thread on creating a tangent line to an arc or circle.

How to create the shape of two circles connected by tangent lines in Carbide Create?

I’m hoping someone can assist me with creating the following shape in Carbide Create: [cCWjK] It is essentially the outer perimeter of two circles of different radii connected by tangent lines. I can easily create the circles, but haven’t come up with an efficient way to connect them with the tangent lines. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jim

While the responses were plenty and helpful, this kind of 2D geometric construction should be natively supported by CC .

This is way too much work for a basic layout technique.

Thanks for the original post, I gained several new perspectives and options to get to a final result. While I’m alaways appreciative of new features I also appreciate the need to nuke it out myself. It provides a deeper understanding of geometry/software interaction and the physical running of the machine.
