Feature Request -

It would be very helpful to add a Edit Short Cuts option AND/OR Custom User Interface.

I use other software like SketchUp, Affinity/Adobe, and at the very least… the ability to change the zoom and pan from where/how they are in CC would be wonderful, so they match other major software platforms. It becomes disorienting when switching back and forth. Not to mention common functions (short cuts) don’t t exist, like “command/control G” for group.

-Just for background
My computers are a MacBook and a Mac Studio. I use CC primarily for the Gcode. Do most of the vector work on Affinity/Adobe. Export Gcode to LinuxCNC

I am not sure I completely understand what you are asking… but you can zoom and pan with mouse commands.

I use Windows – I can use my mouse that has a track/roller to zoom in/out. Holding the right click I can drag to pan left and right.

With the track pad on my laptop - I can use two fingers on the pad: pinch to zoom in and expand two fingers to pan out. The right click hold for panning works the same.

The shortcuts for Carbide Create are documented at:

(Note that Group is g)

I would like to be able to customize short cuts. So that actions like “pan” can match other software…
Right click is often a “context window”. Pan is often the scroll/center button.

When left becomes right and up becomes down… it is confusing.

Thanks for the “Group” shortcut… I obviously missed that.
And, its an example why a customizable shortcut list would be very helpful. Its command/control G in many other applications.
