I found this request while making this topic as a feature request:
Has there been any more discussion on adding guides to Carbide Create Pro? Yes, I can draw lines as my guides on a separate layer however just pulling them from the ruler seems like a handy function. I use them in Illustrator frequently so I know how helpful they are. If I’m wanting to stay 1/2" from the edge so I don’t clip any hold-downs it would be an easy “pull guides from the ruler to set boundary” operation and 60 seconds of my time. Please consider this going forward.
