Help please. Can't get it back correctly

I used this file to create a few awards last year, before loading CC v8. Now I can’t seem to get it to have the same detail as before and just seems to get “jagged” instead of a smooth resulting face protruding from the background.

And, of course, I now have to create two more in one week for graduation and I’m stuck. Anyone have some ideas how to get me back to a good relief pic.?

so I doubt the problem is w/ v8.

Do you have a v7 file which has the desired appearance?

If so, it can be re-worked into a v8 file as described at:

Appreciate it. I think the stl file is what I used before, but there has been a lot of water under (over) the bridge since last year.
Here is what I created before and hope to get back to again.

I’ll keep searching to see if I can find the CC Pro file from before, but I think I may have over written it with the same name when I called it into v8.
