Anyone able to help me learn how to convert this image to a file? Or a good video on how to?
How do I get rid of the square outline of the clipped photo?

A pixel image which uses colour to convey appearance is not very useful to create a 3D project which wants light/dark to show height/depth.
You will need to re-draw each element and sculpt them individually if using the features in Carbide Create Pro:
https://carbide3d.com/hub/courses/create-pro/3d-tool-add-shape/
Or, model the 3D elements in a suitable 3D sculpting program such as Blender or Z-Sculpt or Sculptris…
Or, find a 3D model of this file/design…
Or, if you have access to the actual product, scan it using a 3D scanner:
All of this of course assumes that you have the permission of the original artist to make a replica.
The last time this sort of thing came up @KevBarn14 made a video, I think this one:
Getting rid of the square outline is simply a matter of not drawing it when re-drawing:
dand adusting/editing at need.
Thanks for the quick response. Looks like I have a lot of learning still.
A recently announced 3rd party tool which may be useful for this:
Note that I have not tried it, merely came across the link.
Do you have only the image or do you have the actual item. because if you have only the image i think you are limited to something the uses depth mapping by color. Check out ZeoDepth. but if you are lucky and you have the actually item, check out reality capture. Getting an actual 3d model is way better than any depth mapping can do. then of course there is the long and hard way. use a 3d modeling software like blender or plasticity and import the reference sketch and model it out yourself in rough than you can use your depth map from zeodepth and overlay that onto your model to get a good detailed model. There are lots of other software there also that do similar stuff and some AI modeling which is new and they have some free trials that might give you a decent result or starting point. My favorite way to do this is with VR Gravity sketch. If you have a vr you can import a base reference model from one of these option and then finish up all the details the way you like in VR without having to struggle with something like blender. Try googling depth mapping for CNC or Laser.
Unfortunatly just an image. Sounds like I have a lot more learning to do before I can attempt this.
Thank You! I will check it out
Cool But doesn’t have the same punch as his image. I hope he gets it modeled.
If all that sound overwhelming to you, you can pay someone to model it for you for pretty cheap. There are sites where you can post the job and gets quotes.
It’s only $20 on Amazon.

Looking for bigger than 7"
I get that. I was referencing your reply about only having an image and being unable to use a 3d scanning program. With the $20 model, you could potentially create a 3d model from a scan.
