I am looking at cutting this pumpkin image that I found but want to cut on these inner groves that I have highlighted. I want to cut this area down about 1/8" since the material I am cutting is about 1/2". This will allow me to paint the inner part separate color from the pumpkin. I am fine with it cutting this groove all the way around for the whole outline also.

One approach is to offset the inner geometry half the width which one is working with and then stitch things together.
If you have difficulty with this, please upload the file and we can look into it with you.
I can redraw that section / cut and stitch areas back together. I was hoping that maybe I was over thinking that and there would be an easy way to cut this inner part down. I have not used the CNC to cut wood yet. Really just been cutting outlines and wanting to start getting a little more complex! I will upload the file just in case someone wants to look at it. Might even be good for me to use Oramask so I can paint the inner section black before painting the rest of it.
