How to import tool library database

I have a couple different bits from different companies and they offer files to import into Carbide Create. However, it appears that I can only manually import them one at a time.

Is there a method to upload this file into Carbide Create V8? It’s available in .csv and .rar.

Even these companies advertise that the file is ready for CC…

Thanks.

Sorry. I mean “manually enter” not manually import.

It is an unsupported option to manually edit the underlying .csv file. Go to Help | About | Open Data Directory, then open the Carbide Create directory and find a Carbide Create\tools directory — custom tools are stored in that in .csv files and may be backed up or saved or transferred to another computer, or edited using a text editor or spreadsheet (if one saves as CSV format). See

Problem is when you click HELP in CC v8, it takes you to a webpage.

I had found the other threads but I can’t get to the databases.

For documentation we have:

and I wrote up:

Contact those companies for help downloading said files?

Will - I always appreciate the quick support and help.

There is no way to open About in Help in CC8 to even start a process.

But alas, I was able to find it. It’s not located in HELP. Maybe on a windows product, but on my Mac it’s located under Carbide Create.
