Importing files

Help!? I purchased 2 files from Etsy as a Slt file for 3d carving. I have Pro Carve but for some reason I can’t get the files to work on Carbide 3D. I’ve used Chatgt which helped a lot but when I go to tool path, its not recognizing one and the other just won’t show up on the screen. I have a customer that wants these by next week. Could someone help me with the files?

You will need Carbide Create Pro

Carbide Create Pro | 3D CNC Design & Machining Software

or some other 3D CAM tool.

Is the STL in ASCII format?

Importing ASCII format STL files

If presented with a set of STL files in ASCII format such as: [image] which will not import into Carbide Create Pro, they must be opened in a 3rd party tool such as Microsoft’s 3D Builder: [image] and re-saved as a binary STL which will then import as expected: body_binary.stl (1.8 MB) [image]
