Is BitRunner V2 still in the making?

I read in an earlier closed post that there are plans for a BitRunner V2, is there any updates on when we might see this?

I do understand that the V2 version of the BitRunner is in the works, and I look forward to it.

Until that happy day, no estimated date has been announced- are there existing alternatives that can be suggested to add the same functionality, and that would be suitable for use of the Shapeoko 4xxl?
