I am very new to this program. I am trying to overlay a Bear on a flag. How do I get rid of the stripes through the bear? I have tried many different things and nothing seems to work. Thanks in advance for your help!
Upload your C2D file. We can’t help you if you don’t give us something to work with.
That said, you can likely do what you want with Boolean Subtraction. I made a simple mock up:
Select a stripe, then add the outline of the Bear to the selection. If the Bear is grouped, ungroup it first:
Hit Boolean Subtraction, and check ‘Keep Original Vectors’. The sections of the stripe outside the bear should be in blue:
Hit OK, then delete the parts of the stripe you don’t want:
