Make a u bracket

i trying to make a u - bracket to hold my shapeoko 5 pro down to my plywood top table so it doesnt move on the table when running a program
i don’t know-how to delete the line from the 3 vectors so it will be u design

I’d suggest using the Trim Vectors command as the most straight-forward option.

You will need to draw in additional geometry to connect the two pieces:

Select everything:

and either Boolean Union:

OK

Or, use Trim Vectors:

I think the rectangle on the left is just supposed to be moved into contact with the rest. I did so, and then the tops of the ‘U’ lined up.

Ungroup first so we can fiddle with it.

So, grab the lower left node on the rectangle, and it should ‘snap’ to the other part as you move towards it:

After that Boolean Weld and done.

Since it’s not too difficult to replicate, I won;t bother uploading the file.
