Monogram ornaments

Hi Everyone, I was hoping for some help in working out how to design and make toolpaths these ornaments. I have tried for a while but i can’t seem to work this out. I’m not even getting close to what im trying to achieve. Is there a tutorial on how to do this in Carbide Create?
Appreciate your help

Detail this fine is going to be tough to produce on a CNC. This was almost certainly cut with a laser.

That said, if you’d like advice, post a C2D file that you have been experimenting with so we can see what you are trying to do.

Hi Michael,

Appreciate the reply mate. I thought the same as you that getting that finer detail would most likely require a laser. Although, what I would like to do is atleast have just the name part and not the snowflakes. I think it would still look quite nice.

I did eventually work it out with the name to what I think will work but it’s going to take just over 1 hour to make it so I don’t even think it’s worth it to be honest.

Thanks again Michael, enjoy the rest of your day mate.

Probably, that would be easier in a newer version w/ the new Trim Vectors tool.

If you you’ll post the file you are having difficulty with we can walk through this with you.

While, as noted, the example shown was done on a laser, it should work to do this as an Advanced V carving (for the details) followed by a pocket or contour to remove the interior.
