I have had a couple of cases where the spindle movement just stops.
I do a Pause and a stop then run again and it goes.
What may be causing this.
pausw and stop do not work either only a switch off
Most likely this is caused by EMI:

Yep, I have that when my dustboot and dust extraction is working. At the moment, the humidity level is very low in my shop so I expect that the static electricity buildup is the cause. When I unplug the vacuum, I do not have the problem.
I just purchased some copper wire and I will run a separate ground through the vacuum tube and another ground on the spindle and the frame.
I hope this will address the issue but I will have to run some tests.
